All too often we can become drawn into the busyness of Christmas. Rushing from place to place, buying gifts, writing cards, cooking, cleaning, eating, drinking, the list goes on. We buy into the commercialism and find ourselves overspending and overindulging. How would you feel to spend less on gifts and give more to those who are really in need. If you consumed less food and drink and spent quality time with those you truly cared about, rather than rushing from one engagement to the next.
Christmas is said to be a time of joy, peace and goodwill. Is that how you truly feel this Christmas?
Take time to really taste and enjoy your food. Give thanks to all that enabled this meal to be before you. Savour this time of connection : with family and friends. Give without expectation and receive with love and gratitude.
May your Christmas be joyful, peaceful and safe.
With love and blessings,
